Gas Fired Heater Calculations (for Palm OS 3.1 to 5.x) is a handy application for any Process Engineer or Mechanical Engineer working with gas fired heater installations or involved in the field of combustion engineering.

The application has five results forms providing following information:

  • Fuel gas, combustion air and flue gas mass flowrates

  • Adiabatic flame temperature
  • Fuel gas specific gravity, molecular weight and carbon to hydrogen ratio

  • NOx estimate (with selector for standard and low NOx burner)
